Inspired by British tradition, we have adopted the house system, a space where our students compete in a healthy way, integrate with peers from other groups, and develop their artistic, musical, sporting, and public speaking talents.

Estas Casas las conforman nuestros estudiantes y docentes desde Primero de Primaria a Undécimo Grado. Durante el año escolar los estudiantes compiten en:
At SGS, music is a fundamental pillar of our student experience. We offer musical groups and ensembles, from rock and bands to our Tropical Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra. Our programmes have enabled us to represent Bogotá in national band competitions, consolidating a very vibrant musical legacy.
Sport is an integral part of the SGS character. We have participated in championships for decades in associations such as ASOCOLDEP and UNCOLI, competing in football, basketball, volleyball, chess, and now strengthening athletics.
Our sports programme develops not only physical skills but also discipline, commitment and resilience. We have professional coaches, suitable facilities, and transport routes that allow students to practise safely after classes.

SGS's extracurricular programme offers a wide variety of clubs and activities for students to discover their interests and talents. It doesn't matter if they are passionate about science, art, technology, or reading – in our clubs, they can explore, learn, and grow at no extra cost. These activities are organised at the end of the school day, and we provide safe transport home.
Our students participate in spaces that complement their academic training, developing social, cognitive and emotional skills while making friends and building community.

For us, it is very important that our students receive a holistic education, and this is reflected not only in the academic curriculum but also in the management of their health and well-being. For this reason, we carry out nutritional monitoring and instil healthy habits in sport, diet, medical and emotional well-being, in addition to healthy alternatives for enjoying free time.

Nowadays, in our globalised world, it is paramount that education includes one or more languages as a second language, this being a principal competency to consider in the personal and professional performance of students. The school's first language is Spanish, English is a second language that has positioned itself as an international academic language, and French as a foreign language. Students begin learning English in Pre-kindergarten and French in the third grade.
Cambridge International has five elements that are the essence of excellent international education: international curriculum, teaching and learning, assessment, international recognition, and global community.
We work hand-in-hand with world-class alliances to achieve our excellent results:
Upon graduation, students will have the necessary English exams to gain access to universities in international spheres.

We promote love for our country and hands-on knowledge of it through field trips and educational excursions.
Throughout their school years, students visit different regions of Colombia such as the Eastern Plains, the Coffee Region, the Amazon, Santander, the Atlantic Coast, Boyacá, among others.
Additionally, throughout the year students take part in ecological field trips related to Science Department activities, such as: Humedal la Conejera, Granja la María, the Botanical Garden, Parque Pionono, Monolitos de Suesca, Laguna Pedropalo, Santa Rosita de Suesca, Cachipay, Cerro el Tablazo, Salto del Tambo, Valle de las Lagunas, Páramo de Guacheneque, Alto la

We promote several programs that foster leadership among students, understood as the ability to take ownership of and be responsible for one's own decisions, to be the manager of one's own life projects, and to be authentic, autonomous, and an inspiration for social change aligned with ethics, social and environmental responsibility, and personal and spiritual growth. These programs are:
BUILDING DREAMS:
This is an in-house program that fosters leadership and entrepreneurship in all students from pre-kindergarten to eleventh grade, through age-appropriate activities in which they learn topics such as saving, money management, investments, social and environmental responsibility, administration, expressing ideas, and starting businesses, among others.
GLOBAL TEEN SUMMIT CHARLES WRIGHT ACADEMY:
This is an annual program in which selected SGS students travel to the private Charles Wright Academy school in Tacoma, USA, to attend a panel of lectures and discussion forums on topics related to raising social and environmental awareness for a better world. Every year, students from schools on other continents (Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and North America) also attend, allowing our students to interact culturally and broaden their worldview. These exchanges have inspired our students to carry out local campaigns and programs on these issues.
COPINBOGOTÁ:
Since 2015, at the initiative of two students from the school, St. George´s School and the organization CLIC! have organized and led the environmental activity COP in Bogotá, through which the voice of Colombian youth on global environmental issues is gathered and taken to the actual COP (Conference of Parties) event of the United Nations.

The School selects students to take part in different educational models that simulate organizations such as the United Nations, the European Union, and the Colombian Congress.
Following diplomatic procedures, students take on the role of delegates from different countries or political parties, representing them in discussions and seeking possible solutions to today's global problems through diplomatic debates in committees on the environment, Human Rights, socio-economic issues, political issues, among others.
Participation in these models broadens students' knowledge of major global issues, improves their research, public speaking and argumentation skills, and facilitates integration and social interaction with students from other schools, other regions of the country, and other nationalities.
SGSMUN (Saint George´s School´s United Nations Model)
Since 2011, the School has had its own Model United Nations called SGSMUN, so that all eighth and ninth grade students become familiar with this dynamic and learn about the topic in an experiential way. We always have a committee on economic affairs, an environmental committee, and committees in English and French covering different topics. This activity is supported on an interdisciplinary basis by the language departments and the Social Studies Department.

For high school students, we offer the opportunity to take part in international trips and cultural exchanges to places such as Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and France, whether through language vacation programs or to attend conferences and leadership seminars.
