Actors, musicians, singers, dancers and students who lead the production have the opportunity at this event to show all their talent and confidence, which they have developed in different settings such as: Houses, clubs, extracurricular activities, Talent shows, assemblies, music or art festivals, cultural days, among others.
This great show began many years ago as a traditional school Christmas performance. For over 10 years, high school students led by teacher Jennifer Williams brought unforgettable Christmas stories to life with a highly original touch.
Since 2013, together with our alumnus Mauricio Lozano as creative director, the former ‘Christmas Show’ evolved into the ‘SGS Musical’, with the support of various professionals. Over time, the number of student musicians grew to form the Orquesta Sinfónica SGS, which today brings together more than 100 students.
Productions such as “The Perfect Nanny” (2017), “A Big, Bright, Beautiful Green Story” (2018), and “A Beatles Christmas Carol” (2019) were unforgettable shows. In August 2021 we presented the “Live Stream – Robin Hood Rhapsody” on the digital platform of the Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo, which reached more than 4,000 views.

We returned to the stage with “Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Missing Mona Lisa” (2022) and then “Alice Forever…and Ever” (2023), adapting stories with classic characters and learning music from various genres and decades. In 2024, the surprise was “The Jungle Book” with Indian touches!
